Spring is in full swing right now and the weather has been absolutely dreamy. The 34th Annual Suncoast Boat Show happened over last weekend and it couldn’t have been better timing. It took place at Marina Jack’s with hundreds of boats to compare, food, drinks, music and art.

I love seeing more and more people out and about walking their dogs, running the bridge and taking advantage of everything that the Sarasota has to offer. Taking a walk past the bustle of the boat show on Friday, along the marina and the many Trumpet Trees, up and over the Bay to the Circle, I had to breathe in deeply and try to hold on to the moment for as long as I could.

The Trumpet Trees – the stunning bare trunks all around the area that are exploding with yellow flowers – are lining John Ringling Blvd on the way to St. Armand’s Circle and giving bursts of color to random places all over the town. This is one of the many reasons that this is my favorite time of the year. I hope everyone at least took walk outside. If you didn’t… this weekend the weather is said to be just as special. See you around!
